The Lifeblood of Our Agency Gets a Promotion

I first met Thomas Walsh over a decade ago when we were paired up for the AIGA Idaho “Mix Mentor” program, which matched Boise State graphic design students with industry professionals. The idea was to give soon-to-graduate students a mentor so they could ask questions and get an idea of what the real world was like.

I was impressed with Thomas’s work ethic, design aesthetic, the way he carried himself, and his enthusiasm for the industry. He asked great questions, had a ton of talent, and was hungry to cut his teeth. At the end of the mentorship, I asked him if he would consider working at Carew Co if we had a position. He responded with an emphatic “yes.”

Cut to a decade later. Thomas has secured his place in the hearts of our clients, our team, and has become my right hand at Carew Co. He has grown immensely, both creatively and in his leadership skills.

Thomas is truly the lifeblood of the agency and has earned his new title of associate creative director. With this change in role, Thomas will lead more projects and take on more responsibility in creative direction, interactive and web projects, and project management.

I can say from the bottom of my heart that not only is Thomas an incredible partner in this creative journey, he is also an incredible human. I cherish the opportunity to work alongside him every day.
